Since joining the club Nesci has led Eclipse Select teams to several outstanding accomplishments. Some of the highlights include; 4 USYSA Regional Championships, 3 USYSA National championships, 1 WAGS Tournament Championship, and 4 Disney Showcase Championships. Nesci’s success with Eclipse is no surprise given his prior experiences as an accomplished coach at various levels. Nesci coached several successful club teams for Sparta A.B.A and Campton United Soccer Club where he won State Cup championships and several major national tournaments.
Additionally, Nesci brought semi-professional soccer to the Chciagoland area with the Chicago Cobras from 1999-2004. Under Nesci the Cobras were division champions all 4 years. They won a USL W-League National Title in 2000 and finished second out of 40 teams in 1999 and 2003.
Throughout his coaching career Nesci has received several noteworthy recognitions. Nesci’s coaching awards include; 1999 Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association Coach of the Year, 1999 NSCAA/Adidas Regional Coach of the Year, 2003 USL W-League Coach of the Year, and 2004 IYSA Coach of the Year.
Prior to his coaching career Nesci played high school soccer at Carol Sandburg in Orland Park, Illinois. He continued his career at Bradley University where he was team captain in 1995.
