BIO:

Ryan Decker attended Naperville North High school where he played 4 years of IHSA soccer and graduated in 1994. In club soccer, Decker was a regular starter for Sports Club (now Chicago Magic) in the midfield, where he led his team to 3 Illinois State Championships, 1 Midwest Regional Championship, and a 3rd place finish at the 1994 National Championship.

Decker continued his education and playing career at the University of Evansville and Lewis University. Decker was a three year starter at Lewis University where his accomplishments included a Great Lakes Valley Championship in 1998 and was then named to the All-Midwest Regional team. Decker graduated from Lewis in 1999 with a B.A. in Psychology and then completed his education at Loyola University Chicago where he earned his Ed.S. in School Psychology and M. Ed. in Educational Psychology. Decker has been working as a School Psychologist at Lincoln Way East High School in Frankfort for seven years.
Decker’s coaching experience includes individual and team trainer during his college years and has been the Assistant Varsity coach for the boys’ and girls’ programs at Lincoln Way East for the past seven years. During his tenure at Lincoln Way East, his teams have won 5 Regional Championships, 3 Sectional Championships, and have had 3 State Finalist appearances.
