2024 Eclipse Select CHALLENGE CUP : General Information

The Eclipse Select Challenge Cup is an elite level event for high level teams and clubs at an opportune time in your pre- season.  All games are played at the beautifully manicured Waukegan Sports Park: 3391 W Beach Rd, Waukegan, IL 60087

All players and coaches participating must be registered and in good standing with their local US Club Soccer/USYSA/USSF/FIFA organizations.  All teams must register with their official roster from their sanctioning body, as well as have player and coach passes.  Passes and medical release forms should be brought to all games and kept with the coach or team manager on site.

    FEES

  • U11-U12 — 9v9 — $1075

  • U13-U14 — 11v11 — $1175

  • U15-U19 — [ Showcase, 3 games] — $1275

**This is a stay-to-play event. All teams traveling 100 miles or more are required to secure hotel accommodations through our team.  Once you receive your tournament application acceptance, please contact Katie Milne at katie.milne@eclipseselect.org.

TEAM PARTICIPATION, REFEREE SYSTEMS, GAME INFO

ROSTER SIZE

  • U11-U12 (9v9) Teams:  The maximum number of players on roster is 16

  • U13–U14 (11v11) Teams:  The maximum number of players on roster is 18

  • U15-U19 (11v11) Teams:  The maximum number of players on roster is 22  (A maximum of 18 players may dress for each game)

REFEREE SYSTEM

Three-man system for all 11v11 games

Two-man system for all 9v9 games

GAME INFORMATION

U11-U12: (9v9) Size 4 ball, 2 x 35 minutes

U13-U14: (11v11) Size 5 ball, 2 x 40minutes

U15-U19: (11v11) Size 5 ball, 2 x 45 minutes

Team Registration Checklist:

All teams are required to register/check in at the Tournament Headquarter tent ONE HOUR prior to team’s first game.

USYS Team Requirements:
1.  Team Roster:  Approved State Team Roster
2.  Player and Coach ID Cards
3.  Travel Permit – If traveling from outside of your state
4.  Guest Player Forms – Players borrowed from another team(s) are considered guest players and require a Guest Player Form. CLICK HERE
 
US Club Team Requirements:
1.  Official US Club Team Roster 2.  Player and Coach ID Cards
3.  US Club teams do not require a travel permit.

Medical Release Forms – ALL teams must have hard copies or digital copies on hand on the sideline for all games.

Player passes will be checked against all received player information.  Player passes must be readily available at the fields upon request.
